advice needed pls dont want to go back to work
hiya, im 10 weeks pg and working 3 x 11 hour nights shifts a week 8to 7am in a care home for dementia patients. only been there since 25th june. the smell mkaes me feel sicka nd im sooooo tired. i really dont want to go back and i was in tears last night nearly walked out. i dont think i will be entitled to smp as wont have been working there for 26 weeks by the time im in my 15th week before its due. im due on the 15th march???? will i get an maternity pay and if i give my job up now will it affect any money i get??? I havent told them at work that im pg yet was waiting for my 1st scan. please help i dont know what to do and im upset. surely if i tell them they cant get rid of me can they as isnt there a law against it? and i cant really apply for another job as who will employ me when im pg?

sorry hun but if you leave now you wont get anything but if you havent been there 26 weeks by your 29th weeks you arent entitled to maternity pay for your company BUT you get SMP which is payed by the government
