Afterburners/Shapeshifters - what's happening??
Are we not doing this anymore? Personally I'd like to continue as it gives me that little bit of incentive so if we're not going to continue in the same way we have been doing, I'm happy to continue doing a weekly weigh in thread for anyone else who wants to join me? Who's Shapeshifters team captain now? x

I'm up for carrying on even if I haven't been around for the last 2 weeks so technically should be dropped from the team. I'm back motivated and whilst I am about to post a 1lb gain, that is because it is my weigh in from last Tuesday and is a gain from when I started being ill 3 weeks ago, this week I have been good. Not sure how many of us there are left though

I haven't been joining in recently but..................... need to do something and think this is what I need. So, sheepishly says, can I come back? Think I will try and follow WW though. Don't want any pressure, perhaps just somewhere that I am recording my weight. I don't think it helps me that I am only recording losses/gains rather than actual weight on here cos I lose track easily. Can we have a secret weight swap or something for those comfortable doing it that way?

I still want to weigh in, I'm not bothered wether it be in teams or whatever. As long as I know I'm posting my loss or gain I'll be happy with that. I'll have to get my butt into gear though and stop scoffing loads of choccies!!!

b - welcome back!! How about instead of just recording gains/losses we do a running total of how we're doing eg Loubie - gained 3.5lbs (total loss xxxx) That way we can all see at a glance how well we're doing overall rather than just on a week to week basis? x

Sounds great, its sort of what I was doing before but it did become cumbersome. It perhaps needs to be a sticky but can be edited so updated easier than all the cut and pasting that I used to have to do. Doing well today, had just 4 out of my 20 points allowance. My goal is 2 stone by Christmas, probably put a little bit on at Christmas then shift the remaining stone and Christmas excess before my birthday next March! Then DH can buy me the slinky underwear he keeps going on about :-)

I don't mind keeping a weekly tally of how everyone's doing? Shall we start that from next week then? I'll do a post and see what everyone else thinks later tonight x PS Well done re today! I've not been too bad, had Special K for brek, a splendip and some fruit for dinner and I'm doing roast beef + the works for tea mmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Great Gemma, I am with you then, I want to lose 2st before christmas although I realistically have 3stone to lose to goal. I have started counting WW points again today too.

Would it be worth having a list of people trying to lose weight, and have that list in order of the amount they have lost. that would add the element of competition maybe some of us need. I have no objection to doing the post and keeping it updated One prob with that would be do we start with every one on 0 or with our total losss to date?

I forgot today, I loose track of the cays when I'm off work. Sowwy, I'll be good again next week when I have to go back Booooooo Hisssssss!

Good idea, except.....some people have tons to lose (like me) whereas someone else might only need to lose a few pounds? thats true - In 6 months time when we have both lost a few stone how are those lucky people who only have 1st to lose going to catch up?
