Another stew and dumpling question
I came on here to ask you ladies for a dumpling recipe and lo and behold Tilly read my mind - thanks Tilly! :but: I have a question for those with slow cookers - I'll be putting the stew on all day but wondered at what stage I should put the dumplings in - any advise would be greatly received AND I would love to hear what people serve with stew and dumplings as i'm at a bit of a loss - do you do more veg and potatoes or rice or something else? Thanks in advance Starlight

I put the dumplings in with an hour to go. I always serve it with nice crusty bread..mmm now i know what we are going to have on sunday!
