Right, first off GET A WATERPROOF COAT. I don't mean a normal one from Debenhams or M&S, they just don't cut it when it comes to UK rain. I had an M&S one last year and it soaked through to the inner duck feather lining. So, this year I made it my mission to seek out a 'fashionable' or as fashionable as you can get walking rain jacket. Ended up with a Regatta one and its quite acceptable as these type of coats go. My only gripe is it is TOO rainproof LOL, the water runs off it and soaks my trousers but hey ho you can't have everything. Secondly, yes I would ditch the pram that needs taking down to get on a bus. Do your buses have the lowered floor thing? If not I would consider a lightweight alternative for the really bad days where you have to get the bus. Biggest sympathies, have a subsequent baby isn't half as fluffy as having your first is it LOL, they get hauled out in all sorts of weather. xx

Ohhh nooo that sounds awful!! I had to get the bus from the dentist to my MIL's house this morning, and was thinking it'd be an absolute nightmare with my 3D! My suggestion - get a sling for the days when you need/want to take a bus!!

im going to raincoat shopping today! lizzi i do have a carrier, but ben is literally rammed into it now, hes a big lad and i tried it in house for 5 minutes and my back was shot, mind you he is 18ib and it only gos up to 22ib. Im going to look into a buggy i think, just a shame i spent so much on the 3d to not useit daily :( b only half of our buses have the lowered floor, we are on a route to 2 towns and only the sheffield route have them :( luckily i have the car today so i can have a chill!!
