argh
still bleeding :( its still quite red, no sign of the brown, old blood they said id get after a few days. had to start taking th epain killers they gave me aswell as the cramps are getting quite bad. nothing alarming but just so i cant get comfy in any position. the bleeding is also heavier than i expected at this many days past the op. im only wearing one pad a day so it s not that, just that it today it seems heavier than all the other days which concerned me slightly. i think if i ge the same amount of blood loss tomorrow i will call the doc, but nothing else is really concerning me. just abit pissed at my body really. if you dont mind me asking, what were others experiences or the bleeding and pain. as i said, today ive had to take a couple of the pain killers which i thought i wouldnt need as friday, sat, sun and yesterday i was absolutely fine. thank you for reading my incomprehensible dribble. thanks

I bled for 5 or 6 days after the ERPC. I do remember it getting worse just as I was expecting for it to be getting better. I took pills the minute they let me out and didnt stop until Id run out. The cramping wasnt bad but I had dull aches throughout the day. Hope it improves for you soon hun xx

:hanginthere: hey TIlly i'm sorry to hear that you're still suffering. If i remember rightly, when i had my d+c i bled for about a week after wards and it did get lighter but it was heavier than i expected it to be considering you've had it all 'removed'. I think its normal that you are going through this amount of bleeding and pain too i'm afraid. Remember its a big procedure that you've been through and unfortunately there will have been quite a bit removed. I had Very large clots last week (tmi- one the size of my thumb) and this really shocked me as i didnt think that there would be anything near that much blood all together, and that was just a bit of it! Be grateful that you had the D+C and that all that was removed you will not see... dont worry about taking the painklillers, so long as they are doing there job, that is what they are there for. :bighug: :bighug: :bighug: :bighug: it is such Crap Tilly what you're going through, but touch wood it will all be over and done with physically by Christmas and definitely by New year and then you can start looking forward. hth

thank you all. jen, hopefully all the clots mean that youre body is doing something right and doing it all on its own. it was such a relief in june that my scan showed that everything had gone after i passed quite a few large clots. i hope this means the same for you. x

hiya honey i hope so. I have another scan in the morning just to check that everything is gone. I know it is, so i feel like its a kick in the teeth but i guess it will give me some closure on it all and know its final. hang in there love, it will end soon

Hi Tilly I had nothing until about 6 days after the ERPC when I had quite heavy bleeding and quite strong stabbing and cramping pains. Rang the hospital and they really weren't worried. They said this was totally normal and to call them back if the bleeding continued heavily for 5 days or more but continue taking all the meds they prescribed (anti-biotics & painkillers). The bleeding only lasted 2 days and then nothing further. Sorry to hear you are in pain with this Tilly. I hope it passes soon and you can begin to move on as best as possible.

Tilly- 12-19-2007

tahnks everyone. today ive had no bleeding or pain, so maybe yesterdays sudden outburst (lol!) was a dramatic climax! hopefully thats it now and i can 'resume normal service' ;) thanks again x

Hiya Tilly, so pleased to read things have calmed down for you. Yes, hopefully thats the worst of it over with and you can get back to feeling normal, whatever that is ;0) dolly x ds x 4
