Dont worry Lou my Dh agrees with you - he cant understand how i can go to the fridge and cut a chunk of cheese and just stand there and eat it. Olivia definately gets her love of cheese from me.

Oooohhhh it's not creamy with a tang, it's like blue, stinky rocket fuel and is quite minging!!!!!!
Eeerrrm I don't like strong cheese either (in case you'd not guessed) I first experienced this hideous food stuff at a 'wonder of mould' science day at manchester uni with some kids a couple of years ago, we had to eat all kinds of wonderful mushrooms and cheese (I was nearly sick, but felt like I needed to pretend I liked it so the kids would try too!!!!!)

I love any kind of cheese. Need to be in the mood for stinky, smelly cheese but on the right bread or at the right time, blue is best! Doesn't help my diet much, but DH and I have a cheese and biscuits evening a couple of times a month (normally instead of dinner, rather than after it!)!
I love a really strong Cheddar too and often hack off lumps to eat. And you can get some of the nicest goats cheeses ever here in Cyprus, and as much halloumi as I can get in my trolley! Got a lovely Edam with chilli flakes in it which is fab the other day, the chilli lifts the normal blandness of Edam and it has a great 'afterburn'!

mmm halloumi..apart from mild cheddar its the only cheese i really like..i miss it sooo much!!
Deakie...have you been round to Sylvannas on Aki strip...if you have not you have to....it does THE BEST kebab and halloumi!! Fivos will be there..tell him Lauren and Jago say hi!!! (I miss my shesh halloumi pork chop..mmm!)

Lauren, I rarely get more than 5 miles from Paralimni so I'm afraid the hour and a half to Limassol or Akrotiri is more than I can get at the moment!
Though we are off to Paphos at the start of next month. We're going to see Simply Red in concert!! Dh's fave band but he may need to find me a good kebab to make up for 3 hours of Mick Hucknall squalling!!
