R - the bottom bit is a sheet of velum type paper with the wording already printed on (I got it from my local crafty shop) xxxx

Yeah they should do!!! I tend to draw them in to the bottom of a plate/dish and add water then paint with them though xxx

CK they are gorgeous, Stamping is something that I don't feel too confident with yet, but they are beautiful. Any tips?

Thanks everyone. I didn't think they were that good, but you've all boosted my confidence! yes, I stmaped them with Whispers black pigment in then coloured in with watercolour pencils. I rub the pencils on a piece of scrap card, then add water to make it like a palette. I also sometimes use Whispers brush markers. The stamps are from Penny Black. I love them :) So glad everyone else is doing Christmas cards, too.... everyone scoffs at me when I tell them I'm making mine in September. I don't think they realise how long it takes!! Great additions from everyone else... ooh, I love Christmas!
