die cutter - alphabet
so was looking on ebay for the alphabet (!) and came across this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/mountboard-lowercase-alphabet-die-cut-like-chipboard_W0QQitemZ320294302155QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320294302155&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 i'll be getting the proper thing, but wondered if these worked as well? anyone else used something like these? x

I personally haven't used these...I can imagine you'd be left with all the q's, x's, v's, z's etc and run out of the vowels and other popular letters! This is where I got my alphabet dies from, they were reduced from £100 to £25 - bargain!! Keep a look out as they are always having sales! http://www.ellisondesign.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index

is that where you get all your die cuts from loubie? was looking on ebay for some ideas, btut they dont have one for my machine :( (at least i dont think so) just all the ready made toppers.

What machine have you got Tilly? I've got a big set of letters and a smaller set from the website Loubie posted. I use them loads, they're fab. I have had some chipboard ones and have used them as templates to make more letters, it's a bit faffy but works reasonably well Rxx

Do you mean my dies? I've bought some from there, the rest are from Ebay - just type 'sizzlits' in the search box - there's 1000s!! I'm waiting for my new reindeer one to come, it's soooooo cute!! xx

i have the tag along (is it also called the sidekick?) anyway, used it a couple of times today already and its great fun :) x

EmJ- 09-09-2008

Careful with that £17.50 alphabet - I've got one and it's fab but only works in the bigger machines!! (i.e. not the tag-a-long/sidekick) Em xXxx

Oops, never noticed that, I got so carried away with the price!! Hope you haven't ordered it Tilly!!

Tilly- 09-09-2008
