I made my own, and have just recieved a home made one to someone else's wedding. Its nice to recieve a home made invite that someone has put time and effort into.
I made my own too...not sure I've got any pics, if I find one I'll show you :-)

Yay! I made my own (and Orders of Ceremony, menus, the whole caboodle) - and have made them for friends and family as well as doing it as a business on a very small scale. Its lots of fun and very rewarding when you get lots of comments - I love getting homemade invites as its so much more personal

I didn't have other stuff as we only had a small wedding, but I did all our invitations too!
I made all ours too....invites, reply cards, o of s, table names, wine bottle labels. Also made all bridesmaids jewellery and hair bits. So rewarding. Cant wait to see your finished design xxxx
mmmm...reply cards..waht should they say? i'd like people to rsvp and i've already done the wording on the computer, but didnt know how to do the reply cards. (just waiting for the stuff i've ordered and confrimation of the hall booking :)
okay, heres my first attempt! you have to imagine on the otherside will be a printed in swirly writing "you are invited..etc etc"
and variations there upon!

i'd like to say yes nicki, but for two reasons
1) no one will notice!lol! they'll say "oh howlovely the invites are" but three months later they wont remember!lol!
2)my fave mulberry paper (wanted to mulberry as its nice) i've only got in purple and pink and mustard yellow!lol! dont you prefer the purple and pink for invites as opposed to mustard yellow?!lol!
